USA Pirro has now charged the suspect with shooting the agent. I am curious to see how she is going to connect the "round" (it is a single pellet of birdshot) that was taken from the vest of the agent to the shotgun the suspect had in his possession. I am not considered a ballistics expert, but I don't believe it is possible to say with any amount of certainty that a birdshot pellet came from a particular firearm, much less prove it in a court of law. Also, let's not forget that this is the same prosecutor who couldn't get a suspect indicted for assaulting a federal agent even though he was seen on video hurling an object into the agent's chest.
I dont understand why he had a free run to the door. Look at the enterence and exit of a military base. The roads are funneled to make it impossible to get any kind of free run. Stack furnature high enough so no one can jump over it and put USSS agents inside the funnel and lock the elevators and stairwells to keep intruders out. Not really that difficult
From the slo-mo video, it appears the guy in the dress suit, very relaxed with his hand atop the equipment case, takes a round to the lower abdomen (looks like to the groin the way he reacts!), but unclear what the source of the round is.
